PrintNightmare – Patch

In case you hadn’t heard by now, the 7/6 patch (patch Tuesday) that was meant to fix the ‘PrintNightmare’, a critical zero day flaw in the Windows Print Spooler service which is actively being exploited by hackers to remotely execute code with system-level privileges, was a bit flawed, prompting Microsoft to release an update soon after urging all Microsoft users to immediately install this patch – “We are aware of a printing issue caused by the July 6 Windows “KB5004945“ update affecting multiple brands of printers.
